Jonas Nader explains why Jarred Vanderbilt is a strong pickup for fantasy hoops rosters in need of a rebounding boost.

JONAS NADER: So Jarred Vanderbilt, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated players in all the fantasy basketball. Any time you can have a guy put up 21, 19 in a game with four assists, two steals, and two blocks, you might be onto something. There's some Dennis Rodman qualities here. There's some Draymond Green qualities. He's just a phenomenal two-way player.

Doesn't have a jump shot yet, but he thrives in the paint. He can pass a little bit, but defensively that's his bread and butter. Amazing steal rate. He's at 1.5 steals in only 26 minutes. A decent blocker, as well.

But he's all about the rebounds. He is the seventh best rebounder in the NBA per minute this season. So four total rebound percentage, only guys like Jokic, Rudy Gobert, Clint Capela, Steven Adams are ranked higher than him.

This is a 6" 9" forward. He is just ridiculous. I think he's just starting to scratch the surface, as well. That line up next to Kat, with D'Angelo Russell and Patrick Beverley, is among the best in the NBA. So there's a lot to like here in Minnesota.

But like I said, Vanderbilt, a seventh round value this year in only 26 minutes. He's only going to get better. Go get him if you can. And honestly, in shallow leagues, he's only rostered in 64% of leagues. Go change that right now.
