Balance boards are a thing of the past, now it’s all about the unicycle.

In a completely serious way, Vancouver Canucks prospect Nils Höglander took a couple laps riding the single wheel while practicing some intense stick-handling.

“Wheel, snipe, celly” has a whole new meaning.

One of the more impressive aspects of this short clip is around the eight-second mark, Höglander increases the tempo and really shows off for the camera. And of course the one-handed turn at the very end.

He has already demonstrated some slick hands earlier this season, with the immaculate lacrosse goal scored in the Swedish Hockey League.

Putting the two together, we might just see some NHL players add the unicycle to their skill training.

The second-round selection from the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has scored three goals and has four points through 14 games as an 18-year-old in the SHL.
