USC offers 4-star 2024 linebacker Naki Tuakoi

Class of 2024 Fremont (Oakland) senior linebacker Naki Tuakoi has emerged as one of the most intriguing defensive prospects on the West Coast. He was unranked last year at this time and now has earned a four-star rating from Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker and Northern California native is ranked as the 307th player overall nationally, the 24th-best linebacker, and the 35th-best overall player in the 2024 class from the state of California.

USC, BYU, Cal, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Oregon and Utah are his top schools so far, but he has over 20 offers total.

USC’s linebacker room for 2023 looks very promising, with Mason Cobb coming from Oklahoma State in the transfer portal and elite recruit Tackett Curtis coming to the program from the state of Louisiana. USC is trying to make sure that its 2024 linebacker room will be able to take the baton from the 2023 group, which currently appears to be the best position group on the defensive side of the ball for the Trojans.
