In six games this season, Gustin has 28 tackles and leads the Trojans with 10 tackles for loss and seven sacks (No. 7 in the country). The rest of USC has a total of six sacks.
Injuries limited Gustin to just four games in 2017. He became a full-time starter in 2016 and put up 68 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, earning Pac-12 honorable mention honors. As a true freshman in 2015, Gustin played in all 14 games with two starts and totaled 25 tackles, seven tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks.
For his career, he tallied 94 tackles, 33 tackles for loss and 21 sacks.
The Trojans improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in Pac-12 play with the 31-20 win over the Buffaloes. USC has sole possession of first place the Pac-12 South for now, and can build a more comfortable advantage next weekend on the road against Utah.
