USC football offers 2024 defensive lineman Justin Greene

USC made an offer to four-star 2024 Mountain View (Georgia) defensive lineman Justin Greene earlier this week. USC joins an offer list for Greene that includes Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Michigan State and Kentucky among many others.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Greene is rated the No. 50 overall prospect and the No. 9 defensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite.

Greene had a monster junior season with 63 total tackles with 9.5 tackles for a loss with 11 games. He also produced four sacks and 11 QB hurries. He also defended two passes and blocked two field goal attempts.

USC’s entry into the Big Ten puts a premium on being able to recruit nationally and expand the map for prospects. USC lives in an in-between world in which it will be competing in the Pac-12 this year, against other Western powers, but will then compete in the Midwest in 2024 when it moves to its new conference home. Justin Greene could become part of USC’s Big Ten plan if he chooses to join Lincoln Riley’s team.
