Updated Georgia injury report ahead of UGA vs. Vanderbilt

No. 1 Georgia (6-0) is dealing with several key injuries ahead of the SEC East matchup with Vanderbilt (3-3) on Saturday in Athens.

The game will kickoff at 3:30 from Sanford Stadium.

Here’s an updated Georgia injury report ahead of the matchup.

RB Kendall Milton

Injury: Groin

Status: Probable 

Milton sustained a groin injury against Auburn and missed the second half.

Kirby Smart  said Milton is ‘probable’ this week.

WR Adonai Mitchell

Injury: Ankle

Status: Questionable 

Mitchell sustained an ankle injury Week 2 against Samford and has missed the last four games.

Kirby Smart after Tuesday’s practice: “Adonai has looked better, but he hasn’t probably looked as good as I thought he did in pregame last week… He didn’t really tweak it again, but he’s not 100%. He’s been very similar this week as he was last week.”

Status: Questionable 

Mondon suffered an ankle injury in Georgia’s win at Missouri in Week-5 and was out last week.

Kirby Smart: “Smael’s been very similar to last week.”

LB Trezmen Marshall

Status: Questionable 

Marshall missed last week’s game with a knee injury.

Kirby Smart: “Trezmen warms up, gets loose. He looked much better today. He’s able to practice and take some reps.”

 

DL Jalen Carter

Injury: Knee (MCL)

Status: OUT

Carter was knocked out of the game at Missouri due to an MCL sprain and the timetable for return is unknown.

RB Andrew Paul

Injury: Knee (ACL)

Status: Out 

LB CJ Washington

Injury: Neck

Status: Out 

The true freshman suffered a neck injury in spring practice. Washington is working his way back but a timetable for his return has not been disclosed.

TE Arik Gilbert

Injury: Undisclosed 

Status: OUT

Kirby Smart: ‘Arik is day-to-day.’

Gilbert has not seen the field in the last four games due to undisclosed reasons.
