Updated bowl projections for the Iowa Hawkeyes after Week 8
Nearing 48 hours since the catastrophic officiating that changed the course of the Iowa Hawkeyes‘ game against Minnesota and possibly their season, it is time to move on and flush it. Sure, it stings. Cooper DeJean was robbed of his moment. But, that is football and that is life.
There really is no point in crying over spilt milk anymore, and any complaints or gripes about what went down will fall on deaf ears. As much as I wish it could, nothing will change what happened. Iowa is 6-2 and no number of complaints will change that.
While Iowa fans may feel that the sky is falling, the Hawkeyes can still handle business in the Big Ten over the final four games and accomplish many of their goals. One of those goals is to become bowl eligible, which was accomplished two weeks ago.
There is a growing sense Iowa could draw a Pac-12 or SEC team in its bowl games. There are also two bowl games that seem to be a favorite landing spot for the Hawkeyes.
Here is a look at the bowl projection roundup for the Iowa Hawkeyes following the conclusion of Week 8.
