The North Carolina Women’s basketball team survived a first-round battle against St. Johns on Saturday thanks to a big play late by Deja Kelly. With the win, the Tar Heels advanced to the second round and now have a date with No. 3 Ohio State in Columbus on Monday.
UNC is a game away from making back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances and taking a step forward in achieving their ultimate goal. But Monday won’t be an easy task against a good Ohio State program.
The Buckeyes took down No. 14 James Madison in the first round 80-66 to advance.
