UNC QB Drake Maye to attend 2023 Manning Passing Academy

Nicholls State University will be home to some of the elite quarterbacks in the country as 45 college football quarterbacks will work as counselors at the Manning Passing Academy from June 22-25th.

And one of those 45 quarterbacks will be North Carolina’s Drake Maye.

Per the official release, Maye is set to attend the camp which will celebrate 26 years later in June. The camp is run by the Manning family with Peyton and Eli in attendance working with offensive skill players with the help of college quarterbacks.

Maye is just one of the top quarterbacks in college football to be in attendance this year:

The UNC quarterback is coming off a big first season as a starter in 2022, throwing for 4,321 yards, 38 touchdowns and just 7 interceptions. He also rushed for 697 yards and 7 touchdowns.

After leading UNC to a 9-1 start, Maye was in the Heisman talks and is one of the favorites to win the award this season.
