UNC football moves up in updated AP Top 25 poll

Fresh off of a big win on Saturday night against Wake Forest, the UNC football program has moved up again in the AP Top 25 rankings.

The Tar Heels move up two spots to No. 13 overall.

Not only has North Carolina continued to move up each week, Saturday’s win locked in an ACC Coastal Division title and a trip to the ACC Championship game against Clemson.

Currently on a six game winning streak, North Carolina is 9-1 on the season and 6-0 in the ACC.

UNC’s lone loss came against Notre Dame, who checks in the top 25 at No. 18 overall.

Clemson (No. 9), and Florida State (No. 20) are the other two ACC programs ranked in the top 25.

The Tar Heels’ remaining schedule to close out the regular season are home matchups against Georgia Tech and NC State, who dropped out of the top 25 but sits as the top team receiving votes with 77.
