UNC football lands commitment fro Kenyon McMahon, son of wrestling legend

The McMahon name is important in the world of wrestling, bringing lots of history throughout the years in the world of professional wrestling. From Vince to Shane and Stephanie, if you’ve watched wrestling, you know the name.

But now Shane’s kids are making their own path in a different way.

Defensive back Kenyon McMahon, the son of Shane, has committed to play football at the University of North Carolina. He made the announcement via X (formerly Twitter) earlier in the week. Kenyon’s brother, Declan, is a running back for the Indiana Hosiers football program.

The 6-foot, 170-pound McMahon played safety and wide receiver in high school at Poly Prep Country Day in Brooklyn, New York and is a member of the 2024 class.
