Unbeaten Nittany Lions move to No. 4

Following Saturday night's 56-0 thrashing of Georgia State at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany Lions were announced as the country's No. 4-ranked team in both the Associated Press poll and Coaches Poll on Sunday.

The Nittany Lions are rolling.

Sunday afternoon, the new Associated Press and Coaches Polls revealed 3-0 Penn State to have moved up a spot from its previous No. 5 ranking, jumping Southern Cal. Other movement in the polls saw Alabama remain at No. 1, but Clemson taking over the No. 2 spot from Oklahoma, and the Sooners moving down to No. 3.

The Nittany Lions travel to Iowa for a Saturday night matchup (7:30 p.m., ABC) against the 3-0 Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium.
