In the last few days, Ukrainian resistance forces damaged a rail bridge near the Russian-occupied city of Melitopol, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Quote: "Another bridge down, this one to the southwest of Melitopol. This means that no Russian military trains can get here from Crimea.

Members of the Ukrainian resistance have ‘worn’ the bridge ‘out’ so much that the Ruscists are not able to repair it for second day in a row."

Details: Fedorov said that Russian occupying forces have, since Saturday, been carrying out "filtration" measures in Melitopol and nearby towns and villages. However, not a single partisan has been found yet.

"Glory to the partisans of Melitopol for their daily heroic successes in the midst of the enemy," he wrote on Telegram.

Background: On the night of 13 August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out another strike on the Antonivka road bridge in Kherson Oblast.

Nataliia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Defence Forces of the south of Ukraine, said that the strikes on Kherson Oblast bridges have disrupted all of the existing permanent infrastructure that the Russians used to supply heavy military equipment from the left to the right bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.
