UConn women's basketball head coach Geno Auriemma missed Tuesday night's matchup against Butler because he felt under the weather, the team announced before the game.

Auriemma missed two games in December against Florida State and Seton Hall with an illness.

Chris Dailey coached in Auriemma's absence and after Tuesday's win improved to 16-0 as a coach.

After the game, Dailey was asked about Auriemma's condition and provided a short update.

“He’s just not feeling well. I haven’t talked to him since we left," she said. "I don’t know if he’s feeling better, I’m hopeful that he is but that is all that I know right now. We’ll talk to him when we get back.”

With Tuesday's win, the Huskies now have a 12-2 record as the No. 5 ranked team in the nation and remain undefeated in Big East Conference play.
