When the UConn Huskies welcome the DePaul Blue Demons to Gampel Pavilion on Monday night, they’ll also welcome forward Ayanna Patterson back to the floor.

The 6-foot-2 freshman from Fort Wayne, Ind. has missed the team’s last four games while in concussion protocol, but SNY’s Maria Marino reports that Patterson will be available against DePaul.

Patterson hasn’t played since Jan. 5 against Xavier, but she’s been a key depth piece for the Huskies, averaging 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in just over 12 minutes per game.

With Patterson back on the floor, UConn will have eight healthy players for the first time since their Jan. 15 win over Georgetown. Even with a shortened bench, UConn was able to cruise to victories over Seton Hall (103-58) and Butler (79-39).

The 17-2 Huskies are currently the No. 5 team in the country.
