UConn women's basketball game vs. Baylor canceled due to positive COVID-19 test within Baylor program

UConn announced on Tuesday that the women's basketball game against Baylor on Thursday, Jan. 7 has been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Baylor program.

Baylor began to restrict team activities following head coach Kim Mulkey's positive test results on Monday. Her team is ranked No. 6 in the country after an impressive 8-1 start to the season.

The Huskies’ (6-0, 5-0 BIG EAST) next scheduled game is against Providence (4-6, 2-3) on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Conn.
