The first two-time Associated Press All-American in program history, UCLA women's basketball's Michaela Onyenwere leaves Westwood with her fingerprints all over the community. A two-time finalist for Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year, Onyenwere was recently drafted sixth overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty. During her time as a Bruin, she helped launch UCLA's More Than a D.R.E.A.M campaign, co-chaired the Black Student-Athlete Alliance, and launched Bruin Table Talk, a video series highlighting prominent UCLA alumni to advance community, advocacy and social justice.
