The group still ranks as one of the best in the country and there may be a few gems it the group as well. On3 looked at a few recruits who they believe are underrated, and two Notre Dame verbals came up. Find out below which ones and why they believe the industry has them ranked lower than they should be.

Offensive tackle Charles Jagusah

Charles Power, On3’s director of scouting and rankings has Jagusah “as the top offensive lineman in this cycle for a year now.” There are multiple reasons why Power believes so which include Jagusah’s “movement skills, flexibility and coordination, and his balance.” On3 ranks the powerful Illinois lineman as the sixth best player in the country.

Safety Peyton Bowen

Although Bowen may outgrow his current position and end up as a linebacker, Power still likes what he sees from the Texan. Like Jagusah, Bowen has a wide array of skills which Power liked such as his “range, playmaking ability and ball skills.” A lot of that has to do with Bowen’s speed, which Power believes is elite, as he projects that the safety is running the fourty in the low 4.4 second range. On3 has Bowen as the eighteenth best player in the country.
