Khloé Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl Thursday in Cleveland, a family source has confirmed to Yahoo Entertainment. This is the first child for Kardashian, 33, and the second for her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, whose alleged infidelity has captured headlines recently.
The happy news is a bright spot in what has been a painful week for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Multiple videos emerged of the Cleveland Cavaliers star, 27, allegedly cheating on Kardashian on different occasions, both times while she was pregnant. On Wednesday night, just hours before the birth, Thompson was booed on his home court by Cavs fans supporting Kardashian.
However, according to unconfirmed reports, Thompson was present for the birth on Thursday. No other details have been revealed.
While neither has addressed the scandal, a source told Yahoo that “Khloé is absolutely devastated” by the allegations.
Thompson is also father to 1-year-old son Prince, with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, who gave birth three months after Kardashian and Thompson began dating. In December 2017, Kardashian confirmed she was pregnant in an emotional Instagram post.
Kardashian says she has always wanted kids but knew it wasn’t right with ex-husband Lamar Odom, who struggled with substance abuse issues throughout their marriage. The former Los Angeles Lakers star also admitted to being unfaithful.
Thompson and Kardashian met on a blind date. While she previously called her romance with the NBA player “a dream,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said earlier this year that she’s in no rush to walk down the aisle. The future of their relationship remains unclear.
What we do know is that Kardashian is surrounded by loved ones as she embarks on motherhood. And her little girl has plenty of cousins to play with. Kylie Jenner gave birthto her first child, a girl, in February. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child — also a girl — via surrogate in January. We can already see E! plotting plenty of future KUWTK spinoffs.
