Twitter reacts to Nick Foles replacing Mitchell Trubisky
After the Chicago Bears fell behind the Atlanta Falcons 26-10 midway through the third quarter, head coach Matt Nagy decided he needed to make a change at the quarterback position, benching Mitchell Trubisky in favor of backup Nick Foles.
Foles, who was acquired in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason, saw his first action as a Bear and Twitter had a lot to say about the switch.

We don’t know if Foles is any good. But we know that Mitch is bad. We’ve seen it for dozens of games in a row. It’s time

Oh my god Foles is coming in

I honestly did not see Foles getting thrown in there… I don’t know how you can go back to Mitchell now after essentially benching him in this game

Mitch benched!!!! One mistake? That's how short the leash was?
Only in Chicago.
Let's hope the Nick Foles of Philly arrives.

As Nick Foles comes into the game, I've been humming NFL Films music. Perhaps something special in the works?

I had the Foles tweet saved in the drafts. Matt Nagy pressed send before I could.
