Justin Jefferson is just starting his third year in the league, but he has already emerged as one of the best players in the game. Jefferson put up 1,400 yards in his rookie year and 1,616 in his sophomore campaign.
On Sunday, it looked like he is ready for another prolific season. Jefferson caught nine passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Jefferson’s name is starting to be mentioned when people talk about the best receiver in the NFL. Expectations were high for the first-round pick, but he’s exceeded them. In just 34 games, he’s racked up 3,200 receiving yards. That’s an average of 94.1 per game in his career.
That’s better than good.
Justin Jefferson is a cheat code 🎮

justin jefferson is the most important non-quarterback on offense in the league right now
the offense solely runs through him, he props up an average quarterback and can do everything you’d want from a receiver

Justin Jefferson is stupid good. I can't imagine what it must've been like for a college coach to try and gameplan him and Ja'Marr Chase in 2019. https://t.co/tVvKQEzRBR

Matt LaFleur says Vikings moving Justin Jefferson all over field made it difficult for #Packers to match Jaire Alexander on him, because GB wanted to mix heavy zone: "If you just commit to playing man coverage all day, sure, you can do it."
Zone led to 9 catches, 184 yard, 2 TD.

Tried to tell you guys about Cousins & the Vikes offense this year. This is not a fluke.
Also: Justin Jefferson is #goodatthegame. Great googly moogly. Pack have no answers.

One of the most fortunate things I’ve seen is a franchise trade away Stefon Diggs and draft Justin Jefferson

Justin Jefferson's 158 yards receiving the first half (on six catches with two TDs) is the most by a single player in a half against the Packers since Julio Jones when for 159 in a half in 2014. Packers trail the Vikings 17-0 at halftime. https://t.co/FGSQd9iD1K
