It was a fairly heated battle, and one that didn’t have a lot of transparency, but Ohio State got one of its priority recruiting targets when 5-star 2023 wide receiver prospect Carnell Tate committed to the Buckeyes on Monday.

Tate chose the Buckeyes over his final four of Tennessee, Notre Dame, and LSU, and it furthers the momentum Ryan Day and receivers coach Brian Hartline have in pulling the best receiving talent to Columbus.
