Twitter reacts to Bears signing OG Nate Davis in free agency

The Chicago Bears finally made a move on the offensive line in free agency, agreeing to terms with offensive guard Nate Davis.

It’s a three-year, $30 million deal with $19.25 million guaranteed for Davis.

Davis started 54 games for the Tennessee Titans at guard in his first four seasons. He’s played primarily at right guard in his career, which should make for some interesting decisions for Chicago. Does that mean left guard Cody Whitehair could be a salary cap casualty? Is Teven Jenkins on the move from right guard? All things that will work themselves out.

Davis, 26, has been a solid run blocker, which makes him a great fit in Luke Getsy’s offense. But he’s also solid in pass protection, which makes this another win for quarterback Justin Fields.

The one concern with Davis has been health, as he’s only played one full season.
