Whether you want to call it the “Midnight Miss” or the “Miracle at Midnight,” the timing of Ohio State’s missed field goal was almost too good to be true.

Right as the clock struck midnight, those on the Eastern time zone welcomed in the new year. For Georgia fans, 12:00 a.m. had an extra special meaning. In addition to ringing in the new year, DawgNation said hello to another College Football Playoff national championship game.
