Twitter was not happy with James Franklin after Penn State’s latest loss to Ohio State

For the second time this season and what feels like the 100th time under head coach James Franklin, Penn State came up small in the biggest moments of a big game against a high-quality opponent. And Twitter was there to offer its reactions every step of the way. In fact, for a while, things were seeming pretty optimistic and positive regarding how Penn State was playing before everything went wrong for the Nittany Lions. And the way the game ended soured the mood of many on Penn State Twitter.

Here is a look at some of the social media reactions found on Twitter following Penn State’s loss to the Buckeyes.

Penn State takes on Indiana in Bloomington next week. We’ll see if the Nittany Lions can regroup and end the regular season on a winning note. A 10-win season is still in sight, although that will feel hollow to some after a loss like this.
