Vitek Vanecek’s long, storied tenure as a member of the Seattle Kraken would bring tears to the eyes of any true hockey fan. A member of the squad for exactly one week, Vanecek became a fundamental member of the team. Nay, the city of Seattle.

Did Vanecek ever suit up in Kraken colors? No. Did he play a single minute of action in the Pacific Northwest? No. Did he even pack his bags and contact a realtor in Seattle after being taken in the expansion draft? Probably not.
