It took Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin three years to get into the ring with each other.
And although both Alvarez and GGG gave us a show in a fight that went the distance, once the controversial split draw was announced it took about three seconds for Twitter to flip out.
The main outrage came because one judge, Adalaide Byrd, scored the fight 118-110 in favor of Alvarez. And people were not happy.

Did they bring these judges over from Australia? #CaneloGGG

The thing that people could agree on was that Alvarez and GGG made us all happy to see a good boxing match.
I thought it was a draw. Great draw. Run it back! Also – put the guy who scored it 118-110 in a white collar jail.

Even though most of us were disappointed with the outcome of the fight, the good news of a draw means a rematch.
