Twitter, bloggers appear to have cracked Cowboys’ draft board based on Jerry Jones’ photo op

·2 min read

The history is strong. Back in the day when I used to write for Blogging The Boys over on SB Nation, our crack group of contributors took the leaked photos from the Cowboys’ war room and were able to decipher the team’s draft board. In fact, it was done several times over the years.

Recently, the team has done a better job of masking that, but on Thursday in an effort to justify taking Tulsa’s Tyler Smith, owner Jerry Jones did something only he would do, he held up a picture of the club’s draft board to the cameras to prove that Smith sat above better regarded (in the media) prospects Kenyon Green and Zion Johnson. Now, that held up piece of paper appears to have been dissected accurately. Check out the process and results below.

First up, the enhanced photo

WFAA’s Mike Leslie did the first part, getting as clear a picture as possible to the masses.

Next up, the call to arms

I then sent up the bat signal to bring the gang back together.

The rest of the top 7 is sorted...

A series of Twitter users and bloggers were in the mentions, adding names to the list. Give them a follow and a congrats on the hard work.
