Tua Tagovailoa leaves game vs. Bengals in second quarter

For the second straight week Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has suffered an injury that has caused him to leave the game.

During the second quarter of Miami’s Thursday night battle against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tagovailoa was slammed to the ground by Josh Tupou for a big sack on second down. The impact was on his back and his helmet.

Tagovailoa remained down on the field for an extended time and had to be stretchered off. He was surrounded by his teammates and his coach.

The former Crimson Tide quarterback also left the Week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills after his head and back hit the ground.

Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater entered the game in his place.
