Tropical Storm Nicole: Which condos, hotels are open along the coast?

Daytona Beach Public Works Department employees made repairs to a water line to the Daytona Beach Pier back in November after Tropical Storm Nicole swept through Volusia County.

Tropical Storm Nicole devastated Volusia County's coastline, and some hotels, condo buildings and houses have yet to be deemed safe for re-entry.

Here's a look at which buildings are reopening and which ones are still closed. Removing the unsafe building notice doesn't address possible building or fire code violations or other issues that aren't part of the post-storm building safety reports, according to the city of Daytona Beach Shores. Check back for updates to the list.

What's open?

  • Castaways Beach Resort at 2043 S. Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced on Sunday afternoon.

  • Curran Shores South at 3641 S. Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

  • The Holiday Inn Express located at 3301 S. Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced on Tuesday afternoon

  • The two easterly oceanfront buildings of the Las Brisas condominiums at 3001 S. Atlantic Ave. have reopened, according to the city of New Smyrna Beach.

  • The Marbella condo at 3343 S. Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced on Friday.

  • Opus Condominium at 2071 South Atlantic Avenue has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced Monday night.

  • The Sanibel Condominium at 3799 South Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced on Tuesday afternoon.

  • The Sea Coast Gardens II Condominiums at 4151 S. Atlantic Ave. were cleared for residents to return on Nov. 14, according to Phillip Veski, public information officer for the city of New Smyrna Beach.

  • The Sherwin Condominium at 2555 South Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced on Tuesday afternoon.

  • St. Kitts Condominium located at 2855 South Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced.

  • The Sunglow Resort at 3647 South Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced at 10:35 a.m. Monday.

  • Towers Grande at 2055 S. Atlantic Ave. has reopened after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced.

  • Tropic Shores at 3111 South Atlantic Ave. has reopened. after the chief building official deemed it safe for re-entry, the city of Daytona Beach Shores announced on Dec. 5.

  • The Twin Towers North and South condos at 3311 and 3315 S. Atlantic Ave., have reopened after the chief building official deemed them safe for re-entry.

What's closed?

Volusia County released the following list of hotels, condos and single-family homes that are unsafe. It's unclear when residents will be able to return home:
