Trojans Wire visits national college basketball podcast for bubble talk
The USC Trojans just took a gigantic step toward the 2023 NCAA Tournament with their win over Arizona State on Saturday night. More on that later on Sunday.
Before the weekend of college basketball began, we laid out the full bubble landscape — including the importance of the USC-Arizona State game — on the College Basketball Coast to Coast podcast with T.J. Rives.
The podcast discussion might have preceded Saturday’s events, but the episode is still quite relevant because you’ll get a full assessment of the importance of various results as they come in. There is a discussion of the meaning of each game for each bubble team, so as you put the pieces together, you can see how the national bubble puzzle truly fits.
One of the games we talked about was Nevada-UNLV. We very clearly laid out the situation for the Wolf Pack: If they had beaten UNLV, they would have been fine. If they did not beat UNLV, they would have been in very big trouble.
We will have coverage of the other major bubble developments from the weekend, but here you can get a thorough bubble discussion on College Basketball Coast to Coast:
