Trivia Time: How much do you remember about the last time there was no baseball?
With the Major League Baseball season in limbo during the coronavirus pandemic, baseball fans find themselves in an odd place. It’s April — halfway to May, in fact — and there’s no surprise team off to a hot start. There’s no out-of-nowhere slugger launching homers.
It made us think about the last time there was no baseball. No, not the offseason. The last time there was an actual stoppage — the MLB strike in 1994 and 1995.
We thought back to what was going on at the time and put together some trivia to test how much you remember that time in baseball. Whether you lived through or have studied it, it’s time to see what you know.
So how’d you do? Pretty good? Nailed it? If you missed it, be sure to check out last week’s quiz about the 2019 MLB season.
