People Are Going Wild For The New Little Debbie Ice Creams, So I Had To Try Them

AHHH! Stop what you're doing right now, because our beloved Little Debbie is now an ice cream queen! If you're racking your brain trying to remember who the heck Little Debbie is or why she's important, she (well, the brand) brought LOTS of joy to my childhood in the form of sweet snacks!

Now, thanks to Hudsonville Ice Cream, some of Little Debbie's most delicious treats have been transformed into PINTS OF ICE CREAM!!! And they're an absolute hit on social media, especially TikTok.

Since I have made it my unofficial duty to try all sorts of new snacks, I knew I had to get my hands on these pints immediately. And, lucky for us both, I DID. Here are my thoughts on each flavor:

1.Oatmeal Creme Pies

Off to a pretty good start! It didn't really taste like the oatmeal creme pies I know and love, but it was still a dang good bite. It almost tasted like cake batter, which makes sense since it has oatmeal cake bits mixed in it. I loved oatmeal creme pies as a kid (and, let's face it, as an adult), so I was a little bummed this didn't fully encapsulate their greatness. Even so, it was pretty good. Side note: This ice cream has the best, most user-friendly texture ever. It's so pillowy, creamy, and easy to scoop.

2.Strawberry Shortcake Rolls

Of these seven flavors, this is the only Little Debbie dessert I haven't actually tried, so I didn't know what to expect. Though I'm partial to chocolatey things, this was wayyy better than I could've ever anticipated. It reminded me of Nesquik strawberry milk in a good, nostalgic way. The texture reminded me of strawberry cheesecake. People might be quick to sleep on this flavor, but I think that's a big mistake. It might be a bit of an "underdog" here, but it deserves some love.

3.Honey Buns

Duuude, this tasted like a straight-up cinnamon roll. Or a churro. Or a slice of heaven. The cinnamon was sort of unexpected, but it really elevated the flavor. The pieces of glazed donut mixed in were also quite a nice touch.

4.Nutty Bars

There are few things I love in this world more than chocolate and peanut butter together. It's a combination crafted by the ✨gods.✨ This ice cream reminded me of moose tracks, which is the highest of compliments. The fudge swirl absolutely made me drool, and the little bits of waffle cone added a nice crunch.

5.Zebra Cakes

Just look at that texture. It was almost marshmallow-y — it's truly hard to put into words. Flavor-wise, this one didn't really taste like a zebra cake to me. It just tasted like vanilla ice cream with a chocolate swirl. I will award some bonus points for the pieces of yellow cake mixed in, though. That was a nice touch.

6.Swiss Rolls

This tasted EXACTLY like a Swiss roll! Even the texture was absolutely perfect. It was spongey and cream-filled and genuinely hard to put down. This is not a pint for sharing. This is a pint for eating over the sink at 8:00 p.m. on a Thursday.

7.Cosmic Brownies

All hail the cosmic brownie! To me, it is the ultimate Little Debbie dessert. I saved this pint for last, and I think it's because I'm a genius. I KNEW it was gonna be the best one — I just had a feeling. Maybe I was just slipping into a sugar rush at this point, but I was doing a happy dance in my apartment. It tastes like literal brownie batter. It even has those little rainbow chips that make cosmic brownies so magical! This ice cream honestly puts regular cosmic brownies to shame.

Overall, I have ZERO complaints! For the most part, these flavors actually exceeded my expectations. The quality of the ice cream really did too. I usually spend a good five minutes stabbing my spoon into a pint to get even the tiniest bite out. This ice cream was so creamy and fluffy, and though it was perfectly frozen, it was so easy to scoop! The cosmic brownie was my favorite, but they were all ridiculously tasty. I'm veryyy pumped to continue enjoying these pints and all their gooey goodness. If you want to taste these flavors for yourself, head over to your local Walmart!
