Tribe Soccer extinguishes Hornets, 11-0

Mar. 4—HUDSON — The Juarez brothers — Sebastian and Christian — each logged a hat trick in Jacksonville's 11-0 victory over Hudson Friday night on the Hornets' home pitch.

The Tribe (16-3-1, 10-0) extended its win streak to 10 and collected its 11th triumph by shutout.

Scoring a goal apiece for Jacksonville were Chris Cardenas, Joahan Rangel, Jacob Gonzalez, Ethan Nava and Christian Castillo.

Amassing three assists was Jonathan Frias.

Castillo added a pair of assists while Jack Torres, Cardenas and Nava had one each.

Players of impact defensively included Jordan Cabrera, Gabino Galvan, Yair Balderas, Bryan Torres and Edgar Rangel.

Davy Smith handled the goal keeping duties to perfection for the Tribe.

Hudson, who sits in third place in the District 16-4A standings, slipped to 10-7-3, 6-4.

Jacksonville will host Crockett at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Tuesday is also Staff Appreciation Night at The Historic Tomato Bowl.
