ERIC EDHOLM: It's crazy still to think-- and this is the interesting stat that I found-- 17.7% of his career rush yards came in the final two games prior to the national title game, Northwestern and Clemson. 500-plus yards combined in those two games. He was the reason they won.
I mean, obviously Justin Fields-- it was a special tape. He was great. But they don't get there without Trey Sermon. He had the game against Northwestern that propelled him into that game. And it's flashes like that I can't get out of my head.
LIZ LOZA: I also think that he is good at things that don't necessarily-- outside of that stiff arm-- pop on tape. For instance, this stat-- over four seasons at Oklahoma and Ohio State, 500 touches and just three fumbles.
ERIC EDHOLM: That's great.
LIZ LOZA: Also solid marks in pass pro, which is very important for freshmen first year running backs in the NFL because that's what gets them on the field. And that's always what we want in fantasy. Are they any good at pass pro? Can they get on the field immediately and help make that fantasy impact pretty quickly. Per PFF-- 241 snaps, 9 QB pressures, and 1 sack allowed over his career.
