'The treble is on'

We asked you for your thoughts on the season so far for Rangers.

Fair to say Phillipe Clement is receiving a lot of love...

Matthew: Obviously Clement has had a big impact and the players are responding to him which seems to be the big difference. The energy and desire has been much more enjoyable to see. Shoutout has to go to the captain Tav, he gets a lot of stick from our supporters, but he leads by example and we'd be a lot worse off without his goals.

Alan: Clement has the boys playing as a team again, and hungry to go forward. Fabulous to watch and much promise to come. Delighted to see Goldson get a goal and Tavernier is Captain fantastic, tremendous scoring record at home and in Europe.

Gareth: Rangers needed change from Beale, and the board did their work on finding the new manager pretty quick. Phillipe Clement has done really well since he has came in. Premiership could still be won by Rangers, still three Old Firm games left, hopefully Rangers will lift the League Cup and hopefully the Scottish Cup, so yes I am saying the treble is on.

Michael: Much improved since Clement joined but many big tests which will define the season are ahead!

Ronnie: After a disastrous start, we have a manager steering the ship and we look more like a Rangers team but still work to do. Dessers and Lammers have a lot to prove, Cantwell still to regain top form after injury. However, Sima, Danilo, Lundstrum, Wright and Jack all thriving. Raskin may struggle to get in ahead of Lawrence and we still have Matando to come back.

Steve: The lethargic start to games has been ongoing for years. It predates Beale. This resulted in the inevitable slow play across the middle with a lack of penetration and no plan B. The argument always seemed to be that we can't play direct football as we have no recognised big target men. It has taken six games for Clement to debunk that.

David: Jack Butland is clearly the standout signing up to this stage. He’s been a superb player. Danilo is starting to gain in confidence and look sharper in front of goal. He just needs to show a little more composure. Clement has turned the players around and made them look more like a team. There’s still a long way to go but the signs are good.
