Anthony Rendon is reportedly on his way to Los Angeles on a seven-year, $245 million contract with the Angels. And Trea Turner is upset about it.
Not long after the news broke on his left-side-of-the-infield mate's new deal, the Nationals' shortstop posted a hilarious video of him taking his Rendon shirt out of his drawer and kicking it across a room.
Turner played alongside Rendon in the Nationals' infield for the better part of the last five seasons and developed quite the bromance together.
Now, he'll have to get used to someone else playing third base in Washington.
Who that will be remains to be seen. Josh Donaldson has been linked to the Nationals as their contingency plan to losing Rendon, while they've also reportedly inquired to the Cubs about a Kris Bryant trade.
But all of that will happen in due time. Meanwhile, let's all make sure Turner's doing alright now that Rendon's switching coasts.
