JARED QUAY: The AFC West rivals, Raiders and Chiefs, put on a show for Monday Tonight Football. That show included the second terrible roughing the passer call in two days, when Derek Carr was tackled by Chris Jones. And the Chiefs fans let their feelings be known at halftime.

[FANS BOOING]

But the real story was the Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce connection. Because Kelce snagged four touchdowns. Take that, fantasy football team. I just want to point out that we had Kelce right here on The Rush a few days ago. So we got to take like 70% credit for that, right?

TRAVIS KELCE: My body's feeling good right now. And we're going to be rolling come Monday night.

JARED QUAY: No lies detected, T. Kelce. It all amounted to a thrilling but controversial 30 to 29 win for the Chiefs. We'll take that for every prime time game, please. I don't want to see no more Broncos. It certainly didn't take long to see our first NFL head coach firing.

- That was fast.

JARED QUAY: Five weeks into the season, the Carolina Panthers decided enough is enough, and handed Matt Rhule his walking papers.

- You're fired.

JARED QUAY: Carolina's 37 to 15 loss to the 49ers on Sunday, and a one in four record sealed Rhule's fate. He finished with an 11 and 27 record overall as the Panthers head coach.

- Not great.

JARED QUAY: Carolina also fired it's defensive coordinator and a poor assistant special teams coach. I wonder what he did.

- Cleaning house.

JARED QUAY: Not everyone in the sports world had a bad Monday, though. It's never too early to get your name out there and make a bunch of money doing it, as LeBron James' son, Bronny, will attest. On Monday, Nike signed Bronny, along with four college athletes to NIL deals.

- Show me the money.

JARED QUAY: It makes sense since LeBron has been working with Nike for about two decades. In fact, Nike just made a LeBron shoe that allegedly allows you to do this.

- What are you doing?

- You can't be serious right now.

JARED QUAY: Jumping out of water? Yo, I need to get two pairs of those. Anyways, congrats to Bronny for following his father's footsteps. But, maybe the elder James should have got his son into golf. Because clearly, that's where the real money is. Dustin Johnson has won $18 million for clinching the 2022 Live Golf Individual Championship.

That's on top of the $12.7 million he made in prize money this year on tour, for a grand total of $31 million.

- Aren't you forgetting something?

JARED QUAY: Oh yeah. DJ got $125 million signing bonus just to join the Live Tour.

- [INAUDIBLE]

JARED QUAY: For comparison's sake, Johnson made almost $75 million in winnings during the 14 years he spent on the PGA TOUR. That's just stupid money being thrown around by the controversial Saudi Arabian backed tour. But if you want me, I'm ready.

So yeah, I got to wonder if it's too late for Bronny and Bryce to switch sports. They're already athletic as hell. I mean, they can thank LeBron for that. And you can barely break a sweat in golf. So I think it'd be an easy switch for them, right? In fact, I'm about to do that with my daughter. She's going to be a golfer now. From now on, put the book down, put the clubs in your hand.
