Abel Sanchez is one of the busiest men in boxing. Chosen as boxing Trainer of the Year by Yahoo Sports in both 2015 and 2016, Sanchez is best known as the man who has helped develop middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin into one of the most fearsome fighters in the world.

But Sanchez has a large stable of fighters he trains at The Summit in Big Bear, Calif., including cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev and super flyweight Carlos Cuadras.

Sanchez talks about what Golovkin can do differently if and when a rematch with Canelo Alvarez happens, where he ranks Golovkin among the all-time best middleweights and Gassiev’s potential to win the heavyweight title.

We covered all that, and more, in this latest video interview for Yahoo Sports.
