CLEVELAND – Saturday morning's shootaround consisted of the Trail Blazers getting up shots and running through plays, while also looking at video on the sideline.
After not participating in shootaround on Thursday in Milwaukee, Damian Lillard (back spasms) went through shootaround on Saturday. He also participated in various shooting drills after the team was wrapping up.
Lillard has missed two straight games due to back pain. Lillard was initially listed as probable for tonight's game versus the Cavaliers. It was apparent while watching him at shootaround that he was still in pain after seeing him grimace occasionally.
2:25pm PT UPDATE: According to a report from Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Lillard will return to action tonight.

As for Hassan Whiteside, who is listed as questionable against the Cavs with right hip tendinosis, he did not participate in shootaround.
He did explain how his hip has been feeling for the past few days:
"It's been feeling better, but it's just been sore these last couple of games. I was trying to play through it, and I didn't like how I was really moving, it was really hard to move, and ever since the Toronto game [on November 13th] it was kind of getting worse and worse. So, we're just going to rest it a little bit and re-evaluate it later."
Saturday's game would be the second consecutive game that Whiteside would miss.
The Trail Blazers center doesn't expect to go through warm-ups, at all, or play tonight.
"We're going to see next game. We're going to keep doing treatment and just keep taking it day-by-day, and hopefully I can get back to just moving how I was moving at the beginning of the year," Whiteside said.
Whiteside also mentioned how he suffered the hip injury when he "dove hard on the floor" a few games ago. He added that his hip has gotten worse since then.
Before the hip injury, Whiteside was averaging 14.9 points on 58.7 percent shooting.
