There was good news on the Trail Blazers’ injury front Saturday morning.

The team announced that both Damian Lillard (abdominal strain) and Derrick Jones Jr. (left foot sprain) are available for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.

Portland’s head coach Terry Stotts also noted that Lillard will not be on a minutes restriction.

He will play. He will start and there are no limits. There’s not a minutes restriction, just however he tolerates it. But he is feeling better.

Lillard has scored at least 30 points in five of his last eight games against New York. He has averaged 21.2 points over his eight career games at Madison Square Garden.

Portland will still be without Nassir Little (left knee sprain),CJ McCollum (left midfoot fracture), Jusuf Nurkic (right wrist fracture), and Zach Collins (left ankle stress fracture).

For the Knicks, Nerlens Noel (left knee; sore) is out.

With Saturday’s contest in New York, the Blazers wrap up their six-game road trip.

This will be the final meeting between the two this season.

The Trail Blazers defeated the Knicks, 116-113 back on Jan. 24 in Portland after Lillard scored 39 points on 11-of-17 shooting to go with five rebounds, eight assists and one steal.
