There might’ve been a small ounce of hope that Michigan basketball’s Isaiah Livers would be back for the later rounds of the NCAA tournament, but those hopes have been officially put to rest.

Michigan coach Juwan Howard told Tracy Wolfson that Livers is out for the season, the CBS reporter said Friday before U-M's game vs. Florida State. Livers had been battling foot injuries during the season and reaggravated a right foot injury vs. Maryland in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.

A timetable had not been established on when he’d return and most recently, Livers called it "miraculous" if he were to return in the 2021 NCAA tournament.
