Top QBs among those granted eligibility into 2021 NFL draft originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Trey Lance and Mac Jones were among the players granted eligibility into the 2021 NFL Draft, the league announced Friday.

Ninety-eight collegiate players have been granted special eligibility and 30 others have fulfilled degree requirements to become eligible for the draft, according to the NFL.

Lawrence (Clemson), Wilson (BYU), Fields (Ohio State), Lance (North Dakota State) and Jones (Alabama) are expected to be among the top quarterbacks selected in this year's draft.

Lawrence will likely be the No. 1 overall pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Stanford senior quarterback Davis Mills announced earlier this month he will not use his final year of eligibility.

Mills completed 65.4 percent of his pass attempts for 3,464 yards over 13 games in his final two college seasons. He threw 18 touchdown passes with eight interceptions.
