If top NBA draft prospect Anthony Edwards ends up on the Warriors, he surely will be asked about a specific answer he gave to Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks.
During a sit-down conversation before the NBA season was suspended in mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic, Rooks asked the Georgia product to provide a starting five of current NBA players.
Uh-oh Warriors fans: When Anthony Edwards was asked by Taylor Rooks to name his starting five of current players, he chose Kyrie over Steph ... (he did go with Klay at shooting guard though) pic.twitter.com/u3SXfUs359— Drew Shiller (@DrewShiller) August 19, 2020
It's OK, Mr. Edwards. Everybody makes mistakes (Steph unquestionably is better than Kyrie). We won't hold it against him, especially since he ended up picking Klay Thompson at the "two" after initially choosing James Harden.
"James (is) gonna shoot too much. Can't take James," he explained. "I gotta take Klay Thompson because he's gonna defend, too."

Lastly, the Atlanta native will not be upset if he calls Chase Center his home arena next season.
"Who wouldn't love to play with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green," Edwards said to Rooks. "They could make me better at all times. So yeah, I'd love to play with them."
