Mizner Country Club has named Jeremy Galske as Employee of the Year 2021 and Sarah Spector as Manager of the Year 2021. Galske, a maintenance technician, has been employed at Mizner for a year and a half. Spector has been with the club for six-and-a-half years.
Architecture
Leo A Daly has appointed Juli Edwards as director of business development in the West Palm Beach design studio. In this role, she will be responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining successful business development strategies for the studio’s planning, architecture, engineering and interior design practice. Founded in 1968, Leo A Daly is responsible for much of West Palm Beach’s defining architecture, including the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts expansion, Northbridge Center, and FAU College of Engineering and Computer Services.
Health care
Ashley Vertuno, CEO at JFK Medical Center-North Campus in West Palm Beach, has been named the 2022 Palm Beach County Go Red for Women chair. The Go Red for Women movement is the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative to end heart disease and stroke in women. The Palm Beach County Go Red for Women Luncheon is set for Wednesday, April 27, at the Pelican Club in Jupiter.
Clinics Can Help has added Allen Gast, a founder, and president of Gast Construction Group, to its board of directors. Clinics Can Help in Palm Beach County, and throughout southeast Florida, is a resource for families in search of medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs and nebulizers. CCH provides access to critical equipment for thousands of children and adults who cannot afford it.
Art
Bryan Drowos has joined The Symphonia's board of directors. Drowos is a private wealth financial adviser and managing director of investments at Drowos Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.
Networking
The Boynton Beach Professionals has named John Campanola chairman and Catherine Strader co-chair. Michelle Jackson, Rick Maharajh, Paul Lykins and David Bersch have been appointed to the management team. The Boynton Beach Professionals seeks to build strong business relationships through ethical and honest business practices.
Insurance
NTG Consultants Inc. has added Al Cardenas as chairman of the firm’s advisory board. Cardenas is a former Florida Republican Party Chairman and recently left Squire Patton Boggs to join NTG, a West Palm Beach-based government relations and consulting firm that specializes in the insurance industry.
