Top Florida WR set’s announcement date, Notre Dame a finalist

·1 min read

The Irish have one of the best 2023 recruiting classes in the country, but Marcus Freeman is not letting up. The class is heavy on defensive stars, and Notre Dame is looking to add some top offensive players to join the defensive stars.

Florida wide receiver Carnell Tate is one of those targets and he has now set his announcement date and will choose from LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee, and the Irish. The six-foot-two-inch and 185-pound star is originally from Illinois, although he has played his last season at powerhouse IMG Academy due to Illinois pushing the season to the fall.

Tate has been considering the Irish since his recruitment started, transitioning from Brian Kelly’s tenure to Freeman’s. We will now see soon, tomorrow, if the long lasting relationship has paid off.
