No. 20 Tennessee (33-16, 12-12 SEC) defeated Austin Peay (23-26, 13-11 ASUN), 9-4, on Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Maui Ahuna, Griffin Merritt, Christian Scott and Charlie Taylor hit home runs for the Vols.

Aaron Combs (4-0) earned the win for Tennessee, pitching 0.2 innings. He recorded two strikeouts versus five batters.

Tennessee leads the all-time series versus Austin Peay, 22-5.

The Vols will next host Kentucky, Friday-Sunday, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Friday’s series opener between the Vols and Wildcats is slated for 6:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+), while game No. 2 will take place at noon EDT on Saturday (SEC Network).

Sunday’s series finale is slated for 1 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
