Tom Izzo sits courtside to watch a trio of MSU recruiting targets

The AAU basketball season is in full swing, and it is now the perfect opportunity for many college coaches to get out and start scouting. Tom Izzo has done exactly that, making recruiting a priority this month of July.

Michigan State will look to fill out their 2022 recruiting class very soon, as well as getting a start on the very important 2023 class.

After a year without scouting, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, coaches have a lot of work to make up ground when it comes to scouting.

Tom Izzo is doing his part in making up the ground.

2023 CG Cam Christie

The younger brother of MSU's 2021 5-star commit Max Christie, Cam brings a similar level of excitement and is someone the Spartans staff plans to heavily prioritize. https://twitter.com/endless_motor/status/1413160600004448258?s=20

2022 G/F Jaden Schutt

Schutt is a top priority for Michigan State in the 2022 recruiting class. Many fans will like to hear, Schutt's play style emulates that of Matt McQuaid's style, something the Spartans have missed since his departure. Izzo would love to land Schutt and is going to do everything he can to close the deal. https://twitter.com/endless_motor/status/1413192127295758340?s=20

2022 F Isaac Traudt

Isaac Traudt is another top priority for the 2022 recruiting class. The Spartans plan to make a strong push to add Traudt into their class. A stretch-4 type player, Traudt brings a level of size and athleticism to the position that Spartan fans have come accustom to. https://twitter.com/endless_motor/status/1413215821829189634?s=20
