The outbreak of COVID-19 has forced everyone to adjust their lives.

Certain events have been put on hold, while others unfortunately have been canceled. Sports certainly falls into that mix, too. Many sports league seasons have been paused, and several tournaments were either canceled or postponed.

With people practicing social distancing and spending more time at home than normal, we've seen a lot of memes go viral over the last few months, and one popular meme is gaining traction in the sports community.

It's called the "My Plans: / 2020:" meme.

You won't be surprised to hear the Atlanta Falcons blowing a 28-3 lead and losing to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI is prominently featured in many of these memes. The Falcons and their fans will never hear the end of that one.

ESPN was among the first to use the Falcons in their "My Plans: / 2020:" meme on Twitter, which featured a photo of former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Brady reacted to ESPN's choice of photos with a popular GIF from the network's Michael Jordan/Chicago Bulls documentary titled, "The Last Dance".

It wasn't all fun and games for Brady regarding this meme. NBC Sports Philadelphia created their own version using Brady's infamous drop from the Patriots' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

Here are some other examples of the "My Plans: / 2020:" meme from the sports world:
