JARED QUAY: The Ravens and the Bucs have both underachieved this season. And Tampa continued to flounder during their Thursday night match-up. Tom Brady is out here setting records, the kind you don't want. And the Bucs loss to the Ravens, Brady became the most sacked quarterback in NFL history. Dropped three straight for the first time in 20 years. And he's now two games under 500 for the first time in his 23-year NFL career.

- Yikes

JARED QUAY: But Brady isn't the only aging superstar trying to bounce back. LeBron James is my favorite basketball player and one of my favorite athletes of all time. One reason why he's my guy is because LeBron is just like you and me.

- Yeah, sure.

JARED QUAY: No, really. LeBron got all up in his feelings and posted on Instagram.

[CROWD CHEERS]

That's the kind of thing that any normal well-adjusted person would do when things aren't going so well at work. You air it out on social media, right?

- Sarcasm?

- Yes.

JARED QUAY: The Lakers are [? on ?] for, Anthony Davis injured again, and the Russell Westbrook and LA experiment is going poorly to say the least. So frustrations are running high. I get that. But what I don't get is how LeBron could think anyone takes him for granted. 20 seasons in and I'm still hooked, baby. And I don't take LeBron for granted. Because I know nobody can play forever which is why this is a great time to check in on this year's rookie class with the Ballers of the Future presented by iShares.

If you haven't watched the Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin yet, now is the time.

- Pacers have cut it to 5. Up in--

- --for Bennedict Mathurin.

JARED QUAY: Yo, don't blink or you might miss some of that Mathurin magic. Indiana selected Mathurin with the sixth overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft. And that choice is yielding big returns. The rookie out of Arizona is averaging just about 21 points, five rebounds, and two assists through the Pacers first five games of the season.

- Just gets better and better every game.

JARED QUAY: Now Indiana has a 1 in 4 record thus far, which is to be expected from a squad that had the sixth overall draft pick. Patience is important when it comes to long-term investments. Just ask the Cleveland Cavaliers who went 35 and 47 in Lebron's rookie season. And they didn't win a championship until James' 13th year in the league.

- And it paid off.

JARED QUAY: And you at home can learn the importance of long-term investing alongside pro ballers by checking out the iShares Future Ballers at ishares.com/ishares-ballers. I decided to invest my time and emotional energy into baseball.

- There's no crying in baseball.

JARED QUAY: The World Series starts tonight. And even though I'm a big fan of Astros rookie Jeremy Peña, I got to root for the Phillies. Biggest reason is because I don't condone cheating via trash cans.

- I love trash.

JARED QUAY: But secondly, I'm pulling for my guy Bryce Harper. Dude spends his entire career with the Nationals. And the season he leaves, they win the World Series. That's too much hurt for one man.

Plus he's playing amazing. I mean, I'm not even sure if he's human at this point. He might be a robot. I mean, the way he's hitting that ball? You ever seen a robot hit 3-pointers? I'm sure they can get someone hit the ball over the fence, right? At this point, they should automatically walk him even if the bases are loaded.

There we go [? Barry ?] Bonds, the new Bryce Harper is here.
